Ken has been a proud member of his local union and the UA for more than 30 years. With his leadership experience, Ken has seen the evolution of the organization and finds it rewarding to watch the local growth. From sharing a training school with Local 27 when he was an apprentice, to now having their own multimillion dollar state of the art technology center, it’s quite the feat! The center is not only used to train the apprentices, but is even a training hub for Steamfitters throughout the entire country!

Ken is also proud of the diverse career path individuals can take in the Steamfitters trade. From HVAC-R, to drafting, to welding, there are many directions to choose from. “Our apprentices have so many different options that one has after graduating the program..”
