Energy Transfer was proud to complete of the Mariner East pipeline and joined Local 449 at the new Event Center in Harmony, Pennsylvania to celebrate the achievement.

The Mariner East pipeline system carries propane, ethane and butane, also called natural gas liquids or NGLs. These materials are not only used to heat homes but have a myriad of uses from food packaging and adhesives to carpeting and medical devices.

The pipeline provides for a safer way to transport these NGLs as well as supports families across the country offering long term employment opportunities.

Local 449 was happy to celebrate at their new Event Center. Attendees included Chris Koop and Joe MiGinn (Energy Transfer), Chad Gilbert, Mike Mikich, Dave Butterworth (UA), and Dave Callahan (Marcellus Shale Coalition).
