Looking back at the Natural Refrigerant Training Summit, we can’t thank everyone enough for such a wonderful event. Over 400 participants came together at the Steamfitters 449 Technology Center March 19-21, 2024, for a free training event for refrigeration technicians on the latest natural refrigerant technologies.  

With over 200 technicians in attendance, 35 training sessions took place, including training on CO2, propane and regulations, as well as small-group hands-on training. Not only was this an excellent learning experience, but the event was also a great opportunity for HVACR students to network, with more than 100 students & faculty from local HVACR schools.  

A very special thank you is to the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council for allowing us to be a part of such a successful event. We also thank all attendees, vendors, students, volunteers, trainers and our Local 449 team at the tech center and the event center. We hope to see you next year for another wonderful training summit!
