On February 24, 2022, Local 449 welcomed elected officers of the union along with the men and women who helped build the new offices and event center. Local 449 hosted the evening as a special appreciation dinner to recognize everyone involved.
Mascaro served as the construction manager, while PWWG led the architectural design. During the event, Kenny Broadbent expressed his gratitude to all contributors โ including subcontractors โ for their hard work in bringing this facility to life. Chris Olivo (Mascaro Project Manager) also shared words of appreciation, thanking Local 449 and every subcontractor for a job well done.
First Event at the New Facility
Local 449 hosted the first official gathering at the new center, and attendees welcomed it with enthusiasm. The Event Center includes three distinct spaces โ Prefunction Space, Grand Room, and Patio Area โ and each space accommodates meetings, celebrations, conferences, and union events of all sizes.
