Last week, the Steamfitters Technology Center welcomed Peerless Boiler LLC’s Director of Training, Gerry Hogan, to teach a Peerless Boiler training class to Local 449 apprentices.
PB hosts steam and hydronics training across the country through its state-of-the-art interactive Road Show Training Trailer. The mobile unit is fully piped and equipped with functional boilers and water heaters for hands-on training. It also features sound and video systems, so everybody can see the action up close.
The training included a review of equipment, including the Peerless® PureFire® and Series WBV® boilers, along with the Peerless® Live-Fire Demonstration Trailer.
Local 449 strives to provide unique, high-caliber training for our men and women by bringing in training from around the country from manufacturers with equipment they will encounter in the field, including Peerless Boilers.
The Steamfitters would also like to congratulate Gerry Hogan on his retirement. It was an honor to be his final stop on the road before closing out his career in the trade and trade education.
